The Woman in the Black Coat

The story tells us about a young girl was lives in a large country house whose name is Fanny. And she was married to Lord Glenfallen. She meets a blind woman in a black coat one night. The women wants to kill Fanny if she does not leave the house. Fanny learns some things about the woman, she is the ghost of Martha. The blind women was Lord Glenfallen’s wife. She died. Lord Glenfallen maybe killed her. But nobody knows. Then Fanny left her husband and the house.

Imray Came Back

It happened in India. A man named Imray disappeared suddenly. Strickland, and a policeman visit Imray’s house. Bad things start happening. Visitors arrived and disappeared. Strickland’s dog refuses to sleep in the house at night, and there has been more strange sounds. There was the head of a very dangerous brown snake, called a "karait" in India, looking at us with cold eyes from a small door in the corner of the ceiling. When the two men went to kill the snake, they find Imray’s dead body. The murderer is Imray’s servant. The servant deliberately steps on the dying snake in order to kill himself. At last the ghost of Imray is happy in the room.

The Room in the Tower

A young man who always dreams about a room in a house, and a woman, Mrs Stone, dies. The man sleeps in a room the same as in his dream. When he wakes up the ghost of Mrs Stone wants to cut his neck, and drink his blood. Everyone who arrives in the room in the tower, she kills and drinks their blood.

The book is very interesting, but the 3 stories are so long. I hope other students read it.
